Team Relationship

Mark Lijewski, Jason Sloan, and Gordy Hastreiter have been hunting and fishing companions since they were freshmen in high school.  They grew up in the Northwoods of Wisconsin, and have spent their summers and falls on the lakes and in the woods rather than at baseball and football practice.

Since high school Mark and Gordy have teamed up to be one of the top all time musky tournament teams in terms of dollars won and fish registered during tournaments. In the mean time Jason aquired his film production degree from Montana State University in Bozeman. Now they have brought their talents together to create an exciting new outdoor film company called Badfish Outdoors.

Team Goals

Our goals are to have a show on national TV (cable and satellite) by next year.  The diversity of our segments will interest a wide variety of viewers across the country and national exposure will be beneficial to our sponsors.

Philosophy

Badfish Outdoors is a company with ideals based on conservation, teamwork, and being the best at what we do. Having fun with what we do is always a top priority.

    TYLER RUTZEN - PROSTAFF

  •

  • Tyler is one of the most popular of the Badfish Crew, and has earned the nickname 'Badfish Boy'.  Tyler's enthusiasm and positive attitude have made his segments in the Muskie Madness series some of the most commented on work we've done.  Tyler works very hard at his outdoor pursuits and has taken many big fish (multi-species) and harvested some very big whitetails as well.  It's hard to believe he's now at Michigan Tech, and we'll probably only see him over the holidays and during the summer.
